MACK Artisan of the Month: February 2018
Linda has been a resident of Savannah Lakes Village since May 2015 having moved from Southern California with her husband and yellow Labrador, Mulligan.
Since the age of twenty, I have always been interested in collecting antiques and crafts and twenty years later, my interest in antiques turned in the direction of the Victorian era.
I found local a class on making Victorian style lampshades & soon I began making all the lampshades in my house! However, I did not stop there, the more I made the more creative the shades became and soon I began supplying antique stores.
As my passion grew so did the inventory. I expanded my business to teaching Victorian style lampshade classes. I expanded further…..the birth of the hatpin and brooch pins!
Growth in product line lead to the creation of cocktail pins which are great conversation pieces while sipping on your favorite martini.
I have now been making them for over twenty years and enjoy it as much as I did the first day!
