You are in for a real treat! The Matt Sprouse and David Holloway Artist Reception is on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the McCormick Arts Council. This reception will also feature live piano by Matt Miller, a graduate from Lander University, a previous student of Dr. Lenti and a recently elected member Greenwood City Council. Mr. Miller also is the resident pianist at St. Mark United Methodist Church.

Matt Sprouse
Matt Sprouse is a photographer, collaborator, and independent contributor. A passion for capturing enduring images and sharing their unique beauty and composition with others has garnered him national exposure and acclaim. While being featured in The Huffington Post and American Survival Guide has allowed for a broad audience, this lifelong resident of Greenwood County draws inspiration from his local surroundings. An avid outdoorsman, Matt is always ready, camera in hand, to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments that can never be scripted or replicated. To view some of Matt’s projects, visit

David Holloway

Born and raised in Greenwood. My passion is capturing both still and moving images. I work full time as a commercial cinematographer and filmmaker and in my spare time I love to capture still images. If I had to classify myself as a photographer, most of my work is either travel related or landscapes. Recently, I have launched a new series of images called BlurScapes. They are essentially abstract landscapes. My collection of work for this exhibit will feature images from my travels to Mexico, Montana, the Okefenokee National Wildlife, the Lowcountry, and local images.

Merry McCormick
