Barbara Hinkel’s Character Development Program Returns to serve Middle School Students.
A full scholarship fund is available for our community’s deserving students!
Barbara Hinkel has now taught well over 10,000 students over the course of 20 years. Her course is available again to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The goal of the program is to have fun while learning life skills. 8 lessons are offered to build student awareness in the basics of character development focusing on social, workforce and communication skills. The Fall 2017 course will begin in October and finish with a Dinner Dance for students and their guests. The class limit for this program is 24, with an equal number of boys and girls. The course fee is $100, however, we have a scholarship fund available through the MACK that is able to offset this course fee for all interested students. Students will be asked to contribute $25 for the Dinner Dance and $12.50 for any additional guests. This fee will be due at a later date to confirm attendance. Parents are encouraged to attend a meeting that outlines the learning objectives of this course. Chaperones are asked to help provide refreshments.
